Pickens County - Churches
Baptismal services were first held in the Oolenoy River at the first Oolenoy River bridge. The road to this bridge led straight up the hill from the site of our parsonage. The timbers of this bridge were all hewn of chestnut and held together with large wooden pins (pegs).
